I use the stuff Chris suggests from sail. For the price of it I have no complaints. Works well for me but I'm no expert.

Hey Snaggy, good looking flies for your first. I went to the pond you told me about and landed my first largemouth. Actually it was insane and I got about 10 on the fly below. That's why it looks a little beat up. I owe you for that spot. It was awesome. I got a couple about 3 lbs and I think an even bigger one that broke off around a lot jam. Lots of others about 1.5 lbs. crappie and smallies too.

A zoo cougar made from maribou, Mylar, polar bear, mallard flank and deer hair. I heard they are good for browns. Anyone used them?
