Good day beautiful people, a 55 year old fart here with no fishing experience whatsoever using a spinning reel. Doesn't even know how to cast yet. I did some fishing 40++ years ago using a bamboo rod and piece of rubber slipper as a float, catches me some decent size tilapia, this happened back home (Philippines). I love fishing ever since, just can't find the time to do it. Now that I do have it, I will not let this opportunity to fish slip my hands. Just completed my fishing gear( so I believe) and just got a fishing license. Been reading a lot of fishing articles, tips, ways and everything that can help me land my very first fish here in Toronto. All inputs to help me learn a trick or two from master angler out there will be highly appreciated. Some fishing hotspot too will be a plus. I don't have a car so mobility is restricted, I live just a stone throw away from Islington station. I will be your typical weekend angler and will practice catch and release.
Thanks and GOd bless,
Ramon
