Oh the mozzy's and blackflies are most welcoming that time of year!  I go to Chapleau area at least once a year 2 hrs west of Timmins - my wife grew up there.  So many options up there.  I love it.  If you are considering Chapleau let me know and I'll pm.  There are thousands of km's of logging roads up there many of which pass closely by lakes that you just cant quite see from the road.  That's where the local knowledge is key.  Let me know if you are interested in that area.  Walleye, smallies and pike.  There are speck, splake and laker options up there but I havent chased those there in a while.

I did a 7 day solo trip into Quetico park west of Thunder bay in Sept 2012 it is a canoe access only park.  Saw 4 people and over a hundred fish.  I'm eyeing up the Wabakimi prov park next.  You can load your canoe on the Via in Sudbury and get dropped off and picked at points in the park. The train stops there every three days.

Queen Elizabeth 2 provincial park is pretty cool.  My CCR site has a couple of routes listed with portage details.  Excellent bass fishing.

What area are you interested in?  A good place is http://www.myccr.com/ it has canoe routes and occasionally refernces angling opportunities.  I do some stuff but it depends what regions you are interested in.
