I drove by this morning there were some boats out, and a lot of ice has moved out. I believe the launch across from the weigh in station at Tudhope park allows ice free access to the narrows. Good luck!
I was fishing Gloucester Pool a couple of weeks ago when there was a tournament occurring. Most of the anglers drove like a##holes through the slower no wake channels, and one party even asked if he could buy a large bass he saw me catch. I was really dissapointed how unsportsmanlike these fellows seem to be.
I agree. If they had stiffer penalties, people would be less inclined to take the chance of getting caught. If it cost you $5000 for being over the limit, or fishing illegally, most people would think twice. Education of the public maybe needs to be increased, possibly with radio or TV advertising. Increased fines could help fund this.
