Live Target baitball crankbaits

Anyone use them? I have never really had luck with crankbaits in general but I was thinking of picking one up before I go smallmouth fishing in another couple of weeks. I think I might just like the actual look of them myself.

If you have used them would you recommend it?

Flashers or no? Is it real important?

The salmon are starting to come in a bit closer and me and my ocean kayak are ready! Got the rod done up with 30 lb test and a few j plugs ready to go but I don't own any flashers.

Should I invest in one or do you seasoned salmon fishermen think I'd do ok without one?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How do I change this? I can't figure it out.

I now have a Kayak to go with my fly rod

So I bought a fishing Kayak. I was hoping to try it out and get used to it on the lower slower moving credit. I know the salmon are about to start making some false runs in a few weeks or possibly sooner.

I've never gone after salmon on the fly. Any suggestions anyone?

I've got a 7-8 weight rod to use.

Anyone here kayak fish?

I'm going to buy myself an angling kayak shortly. Was wondering if anyone had any tips for trolling gear or any must have equipment that I should take a look at.
