Hi guys,

Me and a friend want to hire a charter to try fishing big fishes inside Ontario Lake. We asked around Port Credit, but unfortunately all people over there don't mix people and then you've got to pay the hole package (it doesn't matter you are one or 6 people). As we're only two persons and between two people it will be quite expensive, I'd like to know your opinion about this charters before hiring. Is it worth?? A couple of times I've seen this boats coming back to Port Credit with really big fishes, but I don't know how much lucky you have to be to fish a big one, if it is difficult, if not, and so on. The experience I think it should be really nice, specially for people like me that never got big fishes and that don't own a boat to go far away from the shore securely. If some of you have got this this kind of experience and want to share it would be awesome.

BTW if anyone is interested to join us to do this, it would be nice (the more people we go, the less money we pay)

Hi guys,

so pleased to be part of this forum!! I started fishing in freshwater 3 months ago (I come from Spain and I used to fishing in the atlantic shore). I've fished around north ontario lakes some weekends, and lastly I go to one river at west toronto cause it's close to my home. Till now  I've only caught many kinds of bass of many sizes (one of them huge!!) and that just increase my fishing appetite 

But this early morning I've been fishing at that location and I've caught in 2 hours many pieces of a fish I don't know what is. I guess it's WHITE BASS, but I haven't seen it before. Could anyone confirm that??
