Just saw this on Kijiji:

This Saturday March 28th is the 5th annual Hamilton Bassmasters Spring Fishing Sale and Swap Meet featuring more than 70 vendors with over 120 tables of new and used fishing tackle, rods, reels and more.
The doors open at 9:00am. Admission is $2.00 with kids under 12 free.
Free kids casting area. Even the parking is free.

Does anyone have one? Are they worth buying? I was thinking they would be good for floating on the Grand later in the season or fishing for perch at Long Point or Port Burwell.

One thing I'm wondering about is rowing them, do they move well or does it take a lot of effort.

The one I'm looking at is from Costco, seems to get good reviews.

Hello everyone, just signed up and thought I better follow the rules about an intro.

I'm what I would call a casual fisher, only get out a few times a year. Not sure what I can contribute here except maybe sarcasm.

I've fished most of my life, grew up in the Yukon moved to the Soo then Toronto, London, Waterloo. I've fished in all those places and a lot of Ontario. I have a couple of spinning rigs that I bought new back in the 80s and they still catch fish so I haven't bothered to upgrade. That said I just picked up an Okuma Aventa off kijiji that I'm going to try out, just use my spinning rod for now.
