that's a good haul for that short period of time.


I thought so as well! We usually have luck on that lake but normally they are mostly around 2lbs. To have so many over 3 and even 4lbs was a real surprise.

Yeah, he's really excited to get back into it. After his second time out this year he decided he wanted to do a small fishing trip so he rented a cabin at a campground on the French River that my cousin owns. This August the whole family is going up for a weekend of pure fishing. He can't wait and neither can I!

I am hesitant to fish alone for this very reason. With my luck I'd catch the fish of a lifetime and have no proof. Definitely gonna grab one of these!

haha. cant tell if your just messing with me or not. but ya i love ICP. The fishing on wednesday sadly was a great dissapointment. I have no idea why but last few times i havnt had any success. Is anyone else out there having any success at the Kawarthas currently?


Best luck in having in the Kawarthas is on Canal and Dalrymple lakes for pike, though bass has also been pretty productive this year. If you're tired of getting skunked I'd throw a line in one of them.
