I don't have many fall fishing hours under my belt, but this year I'm really looking to get some bigness, hopefully break my PB smallie. 

Do you guys have any fall fishing tips for both smallmouth and largemouth?

I fish near bancroft ontario, the water temp on October 1st was about 63 degrees... what are the fishing doing and what will they be doing until closing?

Im looking for a new spinning rod for BASS FISHING! I will be throwing weightless plastics up to half ounce lures on it...

Do you guys have any recommendations for a rod that is 1 piece, and is between 7ft and 7'2 ft? Must be under 150$ or on sale for around 150$

I have heard good things about st.croix, dobyns, kistler, denali and g-loomis, although not all of them are in my prcie range!

please comment any suggestions or your opinion!

FAIL AT 0:40 ON ICE FISHING TIPS VIDEO

Hi guys! I have a cottage on a lake near Bancroft. They stock the lake with Splake (lake trout and Brooke trout hybrids). I haven't been able to catch one yet, and i don't exactly have a good understanding about these species ( lake trout). I am an avid bass fisherman but i just haven't been able to get and Spake.

I am guessing that they would act similarly to lake trout. Does anyone have ant tips for a beginner, anything and everything will help! I just want to be able to catch some this year!
