No such thing as too much fishing.

08 May 2016 - 10:59 AM

Hi All,
I am looking to find some good folks in or around Hamilton for new fishing buddies. I usually get out as much as possible around the work schedule and almost every weekend. I don't have a boat yet, but I picked up a fishing kayak last fall. I do a lot of shore fishing and love day trips to find new areas. I have had lots of luck near Dunnville and Welland, great spots down there..
I moved here from Peterborough a few years back and it seems lately no one is into fishing as much as me. My buddies I met since living here would rather play on their phones and watch tv.
I use everything from micro lites for panfish/trout to full out carp gear for the tankers, and anything in between. In the Hamilton area bass is probably my favorite target.
If you want to meet up and get some lines wet let me know.
Cheers!

Hamilton Harbour Pike

04 May 2016 - 09:32 PM

HI All,

I have had much success with some heavy bass out of the harbor. I am going to try my luck with pike on the upcoming opener.

I was just curious if anyone has pulled any from the harbor and what kind of sizes you hooked?

  Cheers!

Hi I am from Hamilton and LOVE FISHIN'! I target anything from panfish to carp. I usually stay around the harbour(less driving=more fishing) but have had day trips to St.Cath, Dunville, Cambridge etc... I bought a fishing kayak last fall but it hasn't seen water yet.
Anyone who wants to get some lines wet let me know.I do a lot of shore fishing. I am looking forward to some pike in a few weeks. I've been out for crappie, perch and carp so far.

Cheers!
