The people that gut them for eggs, are they eating it, or using it as bait? I was walking along the shore one day and there was a pile of 6 gutted fish.

Any idea about the tax side of things? Is it true that I won't pay tax on the motor, so on the bill of sale make most of the cost on the motor?

Next time I see someone taking eggs and dumping the carcass, I'll try and take a picture so that next time I see a CO and can show them. Not sure if they can do anything about it, but I wouldn't want to cuss off some dude gutting fish, might be mentally unstable or something. I saw some dude straight up walk to a fish in shallow water and scooped it with the net. Told the CO that was in the parking lot and he put on plain clothes and went and talk to the guy, idk if he charged him.

Just got back from a west trib in Toronto. Got one on a streamer fly, but I did notice some real BS going on. At this specific park, there are signs posted downstream from the dam that clearly indicate no fishing 60m from the dam. There were a bunch of ass nuggets fishing ON the dam. People were telling them they couldn't, but they didn't care. Another thing I witnessed were a couple people taking eggs and leaving the fish on the bank or dumping them in the water. I saw at least 5 gutted fish floating down stream, and I was only there for 3 hours! 

Thanks for the help guys, I looked through the regs and couldn't find anything that explicitly forbid using flies and lures. Guess it was just that idiot who told me using streamer flies would get me a ticket. Oddly enough he was the one who introduced me to flossing. Would fishing pressure also affect the chances of aggression strikes? The place I fish is so close to my home so its the only place I can go after class. There's usually 10+ guys fishing there all within the same 100m stretch of river.
