As the title says, I'm looking get my first decent gear, (medium rod, 6.~:1 baitcast reel), tackle box already filled. 

Not looking to break the bank as I'm new to the hobby so something decent will be great. Let me know what you have.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums and to fishing as well. I went with my dad in my younger years but never truly enjoyed until this weekend. 

Went with a buddy who's pretty big in to fishing and has the nice gear and a boat. Short to say I'm now very interested in fishing. I brought my own canadian tire spinreel set and found out quickly that it wasn't any good. I borrowed my buddy's baitcast combo and fell in love with it. 

Now, I'm looking for gear to call my own. I've looked at kijiji and prices are pretty expensive, sometimes more expensive than new ones. 

I'm hoping people can point me in the right direction and help me get my gear (medium rod, 6.~:1 baitcast reel), tackle box already filled. 

I'm going again on the weekend of the 26th in lake Negeek.
