I live in Brampton and was wondering if the trout make it up here.

There is a fish ladder at hwy 7 in Norval so my guess is yes. There are for sure Browns and resident rainbows there.

Tried the mouth of ans east trib today just to test a new rod.. No action what so ever. The water was very warm, i would not expect to see any action for at least a couple weeks. 

 

Love my new rod though!

Tried another Trib to the west and there were lots of jumpers, just too far out. Conditions were perfect.. I wouldn't be surprised if someone hooked up after I left.
