Good stuff Shiner Minnow. I've been fishing with a fly rod 40+ years and have caught many fish at the end of the drift by swinging the fly or letting tension float it up. Haven't been Centerpin  fishing yet but looking foward to it.

Thanks for the input, I'm just starting out with Centerpin and thinking jigs would be easier to maintain and cast, and also gonna give egg sacs and beads a try. I'm tying up some jigs in 1/32 and 1/16oz size, any input would be helpful.I picked up a Rapala Classic Drifter reel and 13' rod and getting ready to give it a try, just as soon as the Kings slow down running (not sure i could handle a King on a centerpin yet!).   Tight lines
