Hey Guys! 

My buddy and I had a really amazing pike opener this year. I was lucky enough to capture one of the bigger fish chasing down a lure and inhale it on my drone!

Been a tough year in general for pike, been seeing tons of giants in the shallows but have been having a tough time getting them to show interest in my lures. Seems that there are "bite windows" every day and outside of them, the fish shut down.

Hard to imagine, but the summer is winding down. Sitting on my couch on a rainy Sunday has me thinking about some of the best fishing moments I've had this open water season so far. 

With lots of good fish caught and many species it can be tough to pick the best one, but for me on a hungover Saturday morning near the end of may, I had a fish catch that I'll never forget.

Headed out for a paddle on my SUP, I couldn't not bring my fishing rod (obviously) but I didn't expect to hook, let alone land a trophy!
