Hello all you wonderful anglers! My name's Serge. New to the community and sort of new to fishing. Fished as a young boy with my old man in the mouth of port credit for salmon and recently have been trying to get back into it. Hoping to learn from the community and hopefully connect with a fishing buddy. I'm currently living in East Wellington but I hike a lot and fish along the way. I'm familiar with the Guelph, Erin, Kitchener and Peel region.
Hello, I'm new to this forum and somewhat new to fishing. Could anyone recommend a place (other than this forum) where an individual can learn about fish species and fishing in general. I'd like to understand basic things like spinning rods vs casting rods, what makes a good reel vs a bad reel, types of lures for specific fish etc.
