Giant Lake Trout

There are camping, boat launching and docking facilities @ Poplar Point & marine band radio contact,tackle/info is avalible @ the Hook Shop in Beardmore.
During the 1980's I was lucky enough to fish this lake on board Fish N Itis Charter during that time one of the customer's caught a laker that weighed in @ 55lbs in Beardmore.
The head and tail of this fish reached well over the pan of the scale so the true weight of this fish will never be known but as indicated in the video 20lb lakers are quite normal in Lake Nipigon.
