my patriarch did not come close to my stradic in quality, not as smooth and casting distance was alot shorter, the patriarch is a nice reel but for the money, add a little and buy the stradic.

Salmon are stupid lol, they just keep going against the current until they no longer can and while you will only see major runs in rivers where they are stocked, there will also be a few trying to get into any creek they can.

Glow spinners or glow bead and fly combos, for browns just roe is OK, as they have good night vision and sense of smell. Night is best for me, as there's almost no people on the river and fish aren't spooked.

Managed a couple browns last night and a coho, lost a giant steel and a million boots getting in the way lol.
