Wonder if my Pflueger Supreme 8035MG will do if I put some braided 15lb test on it. Should give me over 250yrds of line. Think my reel will hold up to a Salmon though? :)

What kinds a Reels you guys be using? Might have to skip out on Salmon this year or risk it with a really cheapo reel. :) Really hope I'll be able to hit them piers this year. *cries*

Not really. Guess this is going to be my all-around setup, excluding Salmon, seeing as I'd need a new rod altogether. When I do go Salmon though, yes, I'll be on the pier/shore.

Now I'm wondering if I should return the 35MG and get the 40MG, since it holds tons more line I can go after Salmon as well, when the time comes. I'll...

I bought 2 from BPS Vaughan Mills. Yesterday. They also have Strike King Salt Impregnated gummy baits for $2 as well. 10pk/15pk etc.

Only comes in GREEN though. 4lb only as well.. But since I bought my UL setup, I bought me a couple of these as well. Can't Beat $2 for 330yards of line...
