How long does it normally take for credit to clear up?

How about using roe at the river on Friday night? Is the water too muddy to be using roe?

What are the chances of catching them during the day? I was thinking of taking a day off.... it's a long drive (1+ hr) for me, so I want to be able to spend some time there.

Spent Sunday night and Monday morning at PC. Nothing there. Saw a few jump but noone had a fish on. We were near the rowing club.

I was at credit last night between 11 and 2. Not even a single bite. Guess i will try Sunday or Monday morning.

My new reel holds 350+ yds!! I was using roe with a slip float... about 15 ft deep.

I just experienced that last Friday at Credit when I had my first Salmon. 9'6'' ML rod folding in half. Fought it for 15 minutes, then I ran out of line!!! Yes, all 130 yds gone. Broke at the leader at that point (8 lbs test)... Would have loved to land my first salmon, but even playing for...

I was at Wilmot this morning (3 am). Absolute jam packed! Too many people who think they can just come in, litter, fish illegally, cut the fish to take roe and leave... it's disgusting. :)

I went yesterday evening. There was only one guy fishing... no sign of fish. I did not even try... Then I drove to Port Credit... not much action there either (around 7:30 pm). But one guy there said there's lots of fish at night.

I agree. Give it a shot. Imagine the rush you'll get when that 30 lbs salmon snaps your rod in half 8) Then you get a bigger/better rod :)
