    Walleye question

I realize this could be a stupid question but i would like to know. I usually have fished walleye in my life up in the bay of quinte and have never targetted them in the river. Do they run up the river in late fall to follow other species like steelhead do? or should i wait until spring open...

    Zoo!

I'm definitely in favour of catch and release only certain years to allow the stock to replenish. I enjoy fishing, and i especially enjoy catching fish, id rather a day full of catching and a belly full of Subway from not being able to eat what i catch then going up every weekend and getting...

    Zoo!

Thats actually an interesting thought. Maybe put a catch and release only during the major staging period (say last saturday of september) to allow for the majority of the fish to get up stream and hopefully spawn and fair game after that..?

    Lake Huron Rivers

I usually fish cleos and J-13's. past few weeks still been dead but hoping to get up there on saturday. Goderich you cant really fish near the mine like you used to be able to cuz of the tornado.

    Lake Huron Rivers

Went again over the weekend, seen no fish, Port albert water level is very very low, goderich was so-so, but still pretty low. The bayfield river looked ready to go, water was high but still no fish. got a cat and a few sunfish. Will keep updates coming whenever i go.

    Lake Huron Rivers

Just a heads up went up to bayfield, nothing really going on yet. Maitland we heard of some coming up river but did not fish it as goderich is recovering from the tornado and many places were inaccessible. Hopefully get up for september long and have better news.

Port Credit: Salmon “pier” fishing tips for noobs

do you think this would work on most piers that have rivers where salmon run? The huron tributaries are more accessible for me, Bayfield, Goderich etc. I usually end up going when the fish are upstream with my float set up. Do you think if i tried these techniques around the same staging time...

Oddly enougg i was told by some people that live in kincardine who were there and they said people can catch salmon off the pier with some cleos there. Anyone know anything...

    Perching - Lake Erie Piers

Hey guys, ive been going perching in port bruce these past few weeks and been nailing the white perch, however i do preferr yellow perch and just seem to not be able to bring the right baits because they are being caught. Is there any different depth presentation or bait switching to weather...

    Bay of Quinte

Used to fish there all the time, it's definitely not prime season but they're still there for sure, theres a shoal near the bayview resort you'll want to drift, Ive always had my best luck there trolling with a wally diver or using a go get'r and worm with a bottom bouncer for weight. Panther...
