    How to use trout beads

in all my fishing I've never seen some one fish a bead 1.5 inches above the hook, more like 2-3 inches other wise the hook is likely just to follow the bead out and not catch there lips unless your using like a #8 +

    taking the plunge

bait casters have there time and place, personally i like spinning reels because i don't like dealing with back lashes which is almost inevitable while bass fishing with a bait caster. they also wear out much faster and don't have as good of drags but do have higher retrieve ratios.

    Trailer parks

kawarthas! plenty of great fishing, clear water thats nice to swim/boat in. and your not lake locked like many other parks. also make sure you do lots of investigation prior to signing up, some trailer parks are nothing but junk yards and old people bickering and bitching about everything.

    I dare you....

no offense, but what would lake ontario atlantic salmon really be good for any ways? half the population can't even eat the damn fish and the other half can only have a few a year... The strain there stocking isn't even a native strain! A run of even 20 thousand in the credit serves next to no...

    Opener

opener should be great this year, the key thing is to keep walking. I've had days where some one walked by me and said " nope to late, they all must have headed back from last week". sure enough they were another km up! the muddy water should help as as i don't believe the trout will spawn it...

    I dare you....

I used to be dead against the project but what i didn't realize is the project is 70 percent privately funded, The program it self should be carried on but from a more strategical standpoint. why not consult with the st.Mary's project to find which strain of salmon is the best. try 50 thousand...

Trout jumping on The Weather Network

they'll likely still be doing the lift, in late august no way the big chinooks will make it over that. the water will be 6-8 inches lower. will be great for the coho population

    Weird roe cure

read my last post there it was more of a preference thing. i have yet to try those crazy colour roe bags. i have a feeling they'd be one of those things where you fish beside some one all day they catch fish after fish, Then at the end of the day your like "man what the hell were you using "...

    Weird roe cure

mike/fisheads: i should've elaborated, i found CPA's roe to milk more/quikcer than the fish heads, but the fish heads held there colour longer which was nice.(so it is a matter of preference more than quality ) I assume that the roe you get are from farmed trout, are you familiar with there...

    Pautzke'as roe cure

    Weird roe cure

im not into curing my own roe as i refuse to kill a rainbow solely for its eggs. however a friend of mine cures his with salt and river water. they milk fast and break easy but in low clear water you can't beat them. for store bought roe centre pin angling has good roe, fish heads not quite as...

Cheap centerpin Reel for $35 from Ukraine

with center pins the difference in quality is "noticeable" but far from detrimental like it would be with a bait caster/spinning reel. crappy casting and spinning reels can ruin your day of fishing with tangles, drag failures, handles falling off etc. that said a quality spinning reel is only 60...
