And about 40 people downstream of the abutments too. Figure they either didn't know it just didn't care... Im guessing the latter.

To me west is Lake Huron. East is Lake Ontario. North is Georgian bay. There was a post about a "west trib by the 407", so ya I guess people's classifications of locations are all over the place.

Yup exactly my setup. And I use high viz line too. Never had a problem with the fish "seeing" my main high viz line.

Im with James. But slightly different. River harden for approx 5 mins. Then when u get home into a bowl with some salt (I use sea salt). About 1/2 cup. Let sit for an hour, then rinse and back into the bowl with fresh water for about 30 mins. Wrap in paper towel and put in fridge for a day. Take...

Well I do a lot of canoe fishing. I stay away from big water. Been out a couple times and it's too sketchy for my liking. Same as u I've seen guys in kayaks/canoes out on the big lakes and I always think "man they're nuts" lol. Small lakes and rivers are the way to go imo. Hope this helped a bit.

This may be a silly question by why mash the barb on the hook? I've used this rig a few times (not a big fan of the two hook setup tbh) and I always tie to the hook and leave the barb alone.

lol I don't know how to explain where I go without saying where it is so that's the best I could come up with. Edit - so the only "east" tribs ive fished are within a 90 min drive from kitchener. Obviously going east lol. If that's not far enough then I have never fished an east trib

I'm game for a steelie group outing. I'm very familiar with most west tribs, I haven't done much in the east except for the 2 main ones not far from kitchener.
