note to self and to all other noobs

wtf it looks like cake batter!! lol..... dude if its on the skein cut the skein into chunks then brine it in pickling salt and spring water until eggs are somewhat hardened and "bouncy" allow the skein to air dry a bit then scrape the skeins. if loose then brine them and dry them.

    Center Pin: advantages/disadvantages?

advantages - drift control and fighting power disadvantages casting ( cannot be used as effectively with lures and bottom bouncing) also excessively high winds can make them tempermental

    drifting jig heads

jigs catch fish... like dozer is saying match the weight to suit current and depth ie/ niagara 1/4 oz port hope 1/8 smaller creeks maybe 1/32 would be best. both hair and plastic will catch fish just depends on the day but have to say get most on simple silverhead/black body patterns.

    Productivity or solitude

i like the competition of drifting in crowds, also when a run is occupied by adept steelheaders the coordination and synchronization when everyone gets there drifts going in cadence.....a thing of beauty!. my home trib is solitude fishing kilometres of farmfeild instead of battling the crowds...
