    chainsaw the ice than use a lantern and dipnet at night never tried it but am sure it would work. PS when ever i mark smelt balls they are from 15-30 ft down over 100 fow. thats is why lakers rush baits held above them.

    i picked up two spools of senshi last pring because it was cheap (5 bucks) 6lb and 8lb in clear blue. tried it for float fishing and ice fishing DIDNT LIKE IT. seaguar lleader material is aces.

    goood thread here sportsfans, i would like to add that going with heavier shot and bulking the weight down towards the hook will punch the bait through the slush similar to flipping jigs orr bullets for bass

    yup sand bottom with that perch grass is best. i like the drop off areas where it breaks from 12 to 20+ fow. better perch down willow beach way i think though
