Lol yea it's sometimes hard to tell pike and bass apart. And no sadly I haven't given either a try, that's probably a blast. I currently use a bait caster and have a back-up spinning rod, but I want to try fly fishing this year.

I didn't weigh the first smallie so i'd be speculating on that one, the rest I remembered my scale.

    Ayr, River Chunks of 2013

Believe it or not but the one that's closer to the camera ( was by myself so picture was crappy) weighed in at 6.7 pounds, the other I had no scale for but the stomach was really thick, so i'd guess the same or more. Battery for fish finders

I'm just using my MotoMaster booster pack, its a bit heavy (7-8 pounds) but no risks of spilling, has a sturdy handle. and I can run all my gear all day without the batter dying. Always have it around anyways in case my car needs a boost.

    Local Lake Pike

This is my first year ice fishing, and so far I've been enjoying catching pike at the nearest lake to my house. There's also an abundance of perch and crappie, but I've yet to find a reliable lure to nail into multiple perch or crappie yet. Any lure suggestions would be awesome, but until then...

    Big Bar!!!

Great catch, I actually grabbed ultra light ice rods specifically to catch pike. they give a great scrap on such small rods, that must've been pretty exciting when you were expecting crappie though haha

    Ayr, River Chunks of 2013

Hey Guys, I've been checking out the forums for a couple of days now, and thought I'd show off some of my better catches from the river in Ayr. Great bass, pan fish and carp fishing, as well as Channel cats and Pike lurking in certain areas. I highly recommend trying out this river when the...
