There's a video online from a guy in london who caught a nice 10lb rainbow at springbank... Youtube 'Ghetto fishing show' - about three seasons from a guy who only fishes the thames. Has some stupid crap in it, and catches lots of carp - but there's lots of nice bass/pike vids. He has a top10...

Couldn't have put it any better!

I was at bayfield yesterday.... A few fish in the river below 21 bridge, but none caught that I saw. Absolutely nothing in the river more then a km up from the bridge. Also went in from Varna and didn't see a single one.....some nice size bass though :)

50% chance of rain everyday this weekend - if we get some I'll be heading to bayfield sunday to check it out. In the meantime I'm having too much fun getting Salmon on the bronte!!

Yup, I'm pretty sure the water level will be pretty low right now, so not too sure how far they would be able to make it. The rain today will definitely help.

Hey folks! Hit up the Bronte for the first time today - what a treat! LOTS of salmon running, they swam into me twice! I was using my fly rod and tried everything I had, but couldn't convince one to take. The water was 2-6ft and murky. What are some of your favourite salmon-flies? Thanks!
