    FYI to those interested: Just finished talking to a couple guys the coho are still running through [pwadm: edit - location removed], catching them off roe and floats at the bottom of the wharf. They are also nailing them in the channel [pwadm: edit - location removed]

    its not a big issue. stay within the ratings for optimum casting distance. otherwise expect bad casts.

    palomor x2. it is the best knot in the universe for any line. uni knots work well too. There may be better knots for braid out there... even mightier than the mightiest palomor.

    yessir you have done your homework! I personally like the vibrax spinners for big/fast water and stained water with the little dinner bell jingle they make. I use em in #3 and #4 blades. Silver, gold and chrome blue are good colours. can't say enough about the rapala minnows and jerks...
