I was at the docks yesterday afternoon to about an hour after sundown and nearly froze my cans off! Water was cloudy with about a foot of visibility. The birds were gorging on shad, but only had a couple strikes between a white/pink and blue/purple bucktail jig under a float. No takers.

I would say they do not get much bigger than a sardine. It is all about numbers in this case. Tasty little golden, crispy numbers.
