    Poll and Hook Incidents

Thanks guys. Ya thankfully it wasn't the same day I hooked my finger. Yes I was drunk and stupid and went to pick it up for a quick snapshot. He did not hesitate to strike me (poor bugger only wanted to slither away).I picked him up and he struck me and I dropped him. I went to pick him up...

    Poll and Hook Incidents

Why not...I will include some snapshots from that fateful day. I identified the snake immediately after being bite twice (it dumped its entire venom into the first bite). Just the progress over a short period of time as the venom gradually made its course before the doctors decided to...

    Poll and Hook Incidents

Lol this thread is too much. I guess its more common than I initially thought. That being said.....its only fair some anglers taste the pain at least once. I heard fish don't feel pain when we hook the through their mouth. A quick google search indicated: A research team from the Roslin...

    Welland River chub die-off

I wish i could help you find the answer but your guess would be as good as mine. Hopefully it is only a local die off and nothing serious. Would be nice to get to the root cause though.

    40lb Cuda

Absolutely bonkers. Fish are well engineered creatures. We probably wont have much problems in Ontario (correct me if I'm wrong). Although I heard of a Muskie biting a skinny dippers weener. Also a catfish bit me and drew some crimson. I don't get how the 'noodlers' do it without some...

    40lb Cuda

Crazy video. A cuda with a ton of fight leaps right on board. Unless the angler just flipped him into the boat :P http://now.msn.com/living/0515-giant-barracuda.aspx

    Water Behind The Science Centre

I only mentioned bullhead because I caught them there before. You can say carp and cats are everywhere but thats not always the case when dealing with small bodies of water. I found a pond behind an abandoned house/farm and its stocked with tons of goldfish. I say they were in the 7" range.

    GTA Fishing... :/

LMFAO...not sure if serious... They sell some gear....and apparently it works. Usually in the hardware isle. Good to use if you are visiting a snag filled environment.

    Poll and Hook Incidents

The make a quality hook thats for sure. It happened in Grand Bend and there was a big party (we fished in the morning and partied during the day/night). My buddy stayed with the lure in his head for 7 hours. He went up to random girls and said...."do you know what the catch of the day...

    Poll and Hook Incidents

I hooked a buddy in the scalp. It was a treble hook from a Rapala lure. That thing was lodged real tight and we had to go to to the hospital and have it surgically removed. Will find the pics if I can get them from one of the guys
