    Steelhead or atlantic salmon?

ummm Blair, do you mind sharing where you gleaned that information from? 2012 regulations still have Atlantics as CLOSED SEASON. also to the OP, regardless of whether you can retain one or not. should you really be keeping a fish if you don't know what species it is?

    New Float Rod

you could have just given him the link to centerpinangling.com instead of copy and pasting their entire float rods product page LOL

    Pin query

Yes, it is generally true that money = quality. But, that is not what he is asking. Perhaps he does not have $300 to spend on a new pin and wants to see if he would even like fishing with one in the first place. In this case, I can whole-heartedly recommend an IKONIX as it is NOT a crappy...

    Pin query

i've fished both of the cheap pins available on eBay. To be honest, the IKONIX is much nicer, IMO, than the TF Gear. Also about $20 cheaper. I know a few guys that have them as spares and have no complaints as well. Keep in mind you can always buy the reel, use it, if it's not smooth enough...

    Disguising backgrounds

you guys are ALL crazy lol. what's the difference between a non-conservation minded LURKER vs. one of those same lurkers that takes 45 seconds to register for the site and then login......? that's a ridiculous argument to say that "oh, well, you're giving spots to hooligans and lurkers" give...

    Disguising backgrounds

Way to go Notta!! Awesome pics... I recognize a few of those spots ;) There's too many crybabies around this forum. I came here with the intention of being part of an online fishing community... now I log in once in a blue moon to watch the Flame Wars lol. I've found much better resources...

    fluorocarbon leaders

If you're hitting smaller tribs I don't think there's anything wrong with using a light lead. That said, on MOST tribs I think 2lb is a LITTLE on the light side, I use 4lb test for all river fishing and can land any fish in a reasonable (and safe) period of time with my 15' rod.

    Please dont kick fish

CDN Tire has great stuff. I'm a fairly seasoned angler and I own a vest I bought there, I'd say 90% of my lures for lake fishing are from CDN Tire, purchased all of my 7' bass rods there, Quantum, Shimano, you name it. Why would I drive all the way to Bass Pro from an hour away when I can go to...

    NIGHT CHROME - STEELintheDARK

Hopefully it was the Notty, and not the Indian.... as the Indian is closed, as most should be aware :)

    iPhone Fishing Info APP

There's an app for Android - My Fishing Advisor. It's not very good, but cool to play with I suppose. lol. Now, on to my real point :) hahaha RIM is CERTAINLY not the best technology for business practices any longer. The things they were originally popular for: POP3 / STMP Email servers, and...

Wind - Cold - Snow and Steelhead

Notta - I am super impressed with your fishing abilities. I've been following some of your posts closely and can truly appreciate what a great spidey-sense you have when it comes to hunting steelhead. Question for you - do you just whacky rig the dew worms under your float? I fish the Notty as...
