Do any of you have tip's on tying and presenting dry flies?

So the techniques for dry fly selection are quite simular to nymphing and using wet flys then. And I am now looking into joining one of the local tying clubs as they meet at the legion near my place. I was just reading up on them before I popped online. Also, I have attached a link that leads to...

Do any of you have tip's on tying and presenting dry flies?

Does any of you have tips on tying dry flies and how best to select and present your choice of dry fly? I would say that I am at the intermediate stage of tying wet flies, nymphs, and of course streamers. However, I would like to get into dry fly fishing as well. Thank you and great fishing!

    Fly fishing for Carp

I have found that the Boobie works well for surface feeding Carp. As the cork foam keeps the fly afloat. I have had success using these colours White, Yellow, and Brown with White being the most productive. I have also found Marabu Egg pattern in White and Pink work as well.

What? Nobody fishes the Maitland in the Fall? At least one of you must fish Goderich often enough in the Fall to be able to answer my question.

First, Thank you for the reply and I've had success with split Marabu tails as well, and I have also caught Bass and few trout (Mainly Browns) using wooly bugger variants. The other day I managed to catch a couple of Walleye on the deer hair /broad hackle tips claw pattern that I came up with...
