I agree with you, one rod for all 3 species is not ideal, but it's a budgetted start. I can always purchase a 7-footer (med-heavy?) for pike and use it until I get something shooter for ball and walleye. Was also inquiring with the brands out there today. I havent purchased a rod in 15+ years...
