as long as the run is on that pool is a good bet, this isn't a secret area though and its hard to find yourself some real estate at that spot. more often then not there are about 4 people with pins floating the pool.

on a weekend. i work in borden so i stop for 3-4 hrs a night. tonight the bows were getting lit up right in the pool i described. only saw 1 salmon landed while i was fishing but a guy had 3 on a stringer. im still just trying to learn to use my centerpin

i fish the notty daily. There are a few good pools by the bridge. If you are going in towards angus there is a park on your left side with a fish cleaning station and a newly built shelter. If you walk down the river from there to the first bend there is a pool that is producing quite a few fish.

look up steve robotham. i havent been out with him but ive heard and seen his success. he puts his clients on some nice sized bass out on simcoe. pretty sure he puts the boat out in barrie

had some luck at the notty yesterday. got an 8lb male around 2pm off a canadian wiggler.

i was at the notty in anguish yesterday afternoon and things were pretty quiet... a few people fishing. I talked to one older guy who said his buddy caught 2 on tuesday - both males.
