I watched some vids of dec. fishing just off the mouth of the Niagara in Lake Ontario. I have a stable fishing kayak and cold water gear and want to fish there but can’t see where I can throw the yak in. Anyone know?

I recently picked up a Cabelas 13'8 spey rod and Ross reel and want to set it up. I'm a novice and would like to get a shooting head and running line thats forgiving. Any help? Thanks all.
