hahahaha...I get the same look from my neighbours when I'm out their with my fly rod as well haha. But i found that Its much easier to cast the fly out on the water rather than the road haha.

I have 8wt 9' scientific anglers. I think i'm begging to think I need to get another rod like a 5wt 11' from everything I have been reading and understanding lately lol.

Thanks for the report float!! Nice lookin fish their. and always remember, usually a lil bit more sauce can be a good cure the morning after. I do agree though getting on the water is a nice cure. even better if you wade it i find.
