I like to add that some people like high vis mono for main line, others like clear. Completely up to you. Hi-vis just let's you see where you line is going (from what I know) I personally use clear 10lb raven mono for my main line after 100 yrds of backing.
Hey,
For my bass fishing reels I use hot sauce by quantum for oil and grease. I usually oil/grease my baitcaster and spinning reels at the end of the season.
Oil bearings, grease gears
Hope that helps!
Nice fish!
I guess I need to learn more about steelheading.
I was out from 7 this morning at two different east tribs and didn't even get a hit.
I think i need a mentor!
Didn't end up heading out tonight. found some time tomorrow morning so heading out in the morning instead :D lets hope ill have better luck this time around. the last few times i went was a disappointment! haha
Definately, just hope that monster is in the water and not from the bush behind you? haha
This being my first season fishing the tribs, I think it'd be safer for me to catch some panfishes instead.... oh... but tribs are so fun ):
Thanks Blair! Can always count on you for a great answer haha.
I'm asking because at bowmanville, it says the park hours are from 6am to 11pm. so I'm not sure if that means you can't fish there after 11.
Hey guys thanks for all the replies. I used self sticking tape to tape the seats onto the rod do it doesn't move. I added some lead weights taped together and covered it with a Turkey baster thing (I know it looks ugly but it works lol) now its pretty much balanced (:
