I was out friday to the huron tribs... and there all blown out... drove to port albert in the morning an ended up back in bayfield only one fish caught id give it a few days.

There are defenetly a ton of steelhead in the paris/brantford stretch of the grand.... whitemans is artificial only im pretty sure but also some very good fishing.

I took a pretty close look an it sorta looked like the pink worms in the video are wacky rigged.. it could just be me.. anyone offer up any advice on different ways to run a pink worm for steelies?

Ouch stingin nettel hurts like a b*tch. I think the best thing ive found to cure that is some mud from tha creek smear it on there an let it dry you will be good to go.

It hasnt been to bad at st willys lately... the last few times ive been out its been the williams wobbler jigging spoon bringing them in an then they end up hitting my little jig head tipped with a minnow....i usually go out of the bay instead of st williams but ether way. Also ive heard some...

I also got my license online an i found it to be pretty cheap. I only paid around 54 dollars for a 3 year conservation as im defenetly more of a catch an release type. As blair said it took only a few weeks to arive an i just carried my E license with me untill then.

Worms, Shrimp and dead suckers are all really good catty bait.. but i swear those fish would take just about anything aslong as it stinks.

I was down to visit a few friends of mine near the lake and i noticed some guys ice fishing in the channel near the mouth soo i stoped to talk to them. Turns out they had already landed two respectable steelies and apparently they do it quite often.. i know the water had to be moving pretty...

Its called wildwood conservation area.. i think its just a big water resevour theres always mega people there but we usually fish infront of the dam about 100 yards...an those pike were caught in only 12 (fow) iam also seeing alot more keeper size perch than i have in recent years.

Had the day of wednesday soo decided to spend it on the ice.. managed a few nice pike an some respecatble sized perch all in all it wasnt a bad day. i couldnt manage to upload the pics on here for some reason soo you can take a look at photobucket if you like...

Ive got the quickfish just this season an the grey rubber coating is already starting to peel after only beeing used 6 times or so... but on the plus side i had it out on the bay a few weeks ago an it stood up to a 45km wind with no problems at all... a few friends with me that day defenetly...
