but then wouldn't it be lighter in color?.... sorry i"m under the impression that the fish gets darker the longer hes exposed the stronger sunlight and warmer water... or do they change color way before they start running? ( thanks everyone for the info! :P)

is there that big of a difference in taste as far as lake caught salmon( off the pier) or stream caught? i wouldn't know i catch and release everything i catch unless i cant revive it then my neighbors jump on it.... ( im allergic to fish go figure...)

you sure because all through the day i was walking up and down the stream looking at other anglers catches and they all looked like the yellowish male some were more "beat up" or "roten" but that one fish was really weird, did int see any other ones like it, it was pristine not a scratch on...

ok so went salmon fishing and caught some fish! yay now most of them were all the same ''type'' (still not sure if its coho or chinook) except for the one witch looked different then the rest can someone clarify this for me? -here is the ''comon'' type (male) witch had a uniform yellowish ting...
