thanks everyone i'll have to give these a shot for sure! just curious, what are you guys using for setups? sinking lines? floating w/ a sinking leader? how often do you add split shot to get the streamer down? are you aiming to get fly down as deep as nymphing? if you haven't guessed... not...

haha although, watching a small mouth speed after your fly and destroy it is pretty fun

Just curious what your steelhead go to flies are? I only started last year and been mostly experimenting w/ egg patters in a nymph style. Not much luck w/ swinging. What are your favorite patterns for the GTA? trips?

Just curious, what are some of your go-to wet fly patterns? I nymph most of the time and definitely want to start trying wet fly technique as some of the waters i frequent seem like they'd be perfect!

Since I was going to be in St Catherines anyways, I decided to check out Niagara River and the infamous Whirlpool and Devil's HOle today It's was my first time and didn't know what to expect. First of all, went down the wrong path and ended up basically scaling the cliff down on the whirlpool...
