My Rant - Ruining Others Trying to Enjoy Themselves

I've been checked for my licence 5 times in the last four years. The MNR is lacking so much funding that they don't have the manpower to be out on every lake every day.Sad as it may be, its true. As far as all the dispicable behavior that has happened, its best to take it to the authorities...

    Proper fish handling?

I couldn't agree more disspatcher. Also, never hold a fish by the eye sockets to take it out of the water, a blind fish cannot survive. I've seen so many pics of holding fish like that, NO,NO,NO!!! Also, when releasing it, don't torpedo the fish back in. So many muskies floating around...

    Spring Crappie techniques

I use a slip bobber with a jig tipped with a minnow, worm, maggot, anything small. I find I have most success around docks, right in the corners, ultra light rod, and 2-4lb test. Don't need anything bigger, they have paper mouths so I don't want a huge hook set, ultralight keeps me from...

Okay, here I go again. Answers please.

If the big fish aren't biting, panfish is the way to go. Can be a blast fishing for them, scrappy little(or in some cases, BIG) fighters. Keeps you active, that's for sure. Good luck!

Okay, here I go again. Answers please.

Action- Has to do with what you want to fish for. Say for instance you want muskie, I'd go with a rod that has a medium to medium heavy action. All has to do with the shock and muscle that the rod has in it. Ultra light setups are for panfish, fun rods to use, can feel everything the fish...

    BPS

I can't make it down to BPS all that often, same goes for the other places. I do all my buying online, so I check out the websites of all of them, find my best deal, and order from there. Only thing I don't order are rods and reels, just one of those things where you have to feel it in your...
