    Lake fishing from shore?

I am headed to Scugog tomorrow morning. If you are looking for a cheap boat, walmart has a really good deal right now. They are selling the intex seahawk 4 for just $100. The good thing about this inflatable boat is unlike other boats the material is 30 Gauge PVC and very puncture resistant.

    Credit River

One of my friends caught a small mouth there a while back. Cast between rocky cover or areas with low water current. Good luck.

    Lake Scugog

Hey guys, I just recently bought an inflatable boat from wal-mart and planning to head to lake scugog for some LM bass. Has anyone been there lately? Any good spots to start? I don't have a motor so I can't get that far into the water. Thanks in advance! I will definitely update you guys on how...

What was your first species of fish you caught in Ontario?

My first fish was a crappie. But in terms of all water creatures, my first was snapping turtle, second was a crawfish (yes, it actually got stuck on my hook) and finally third was the crappie!

Thanks for the tips guys, I am probably going to rent out a hut sometime next week. Has anyone tried ice fishing on any ponds in toronto? I had Topham pond at eglinton flats in mind... I checked it out today and it seems to look frozen to me. I noticed footsteps on the pond, however didn't see...

Hi guys, I am a newbie to ice fishing. I recently got an ice auger, an ice fishing rod and artificial wax worms (the gulp brand). I live in toronto and I am looking for a nice place to go ice fishing for the first time. Any recommendations? I want to try Cooks bay, but don't have an snow...

    Topham Pond - Eglinton Flats

Don't bother with grenadier, from my experience last year the shoreline was uncastable since it was full of algae and weeds. The only decent spot was off the docks, but it's always packed with people and all you can really catch are sunfish. Try the centennial park pond, I've seen pike and bass...

    Topham Pond - Eglinton Flats

From past experience (though I am not the most experienced) I have noticed that most of the big bass go for black colour and most of the small bass go for the white colour. Defenitely let us know how it goes and good luck!

    Topham Pond - Eglinton Flats

Hello guys, I think the southern shore is the best for pike. I am not too sure about bass, but an old guy who has been fishing there for more than 10 years said that there is a nice weed bed at the center of the pond and said all the pike and bass are hiding there. Try to cast as far to the...

How to get reluctant bass to strike?

Soft baits are your best bet, try the more natural looking colours in clear water. If its an extremely big bass, try an extremely big bait 8)

    Topham Pond - Eglinton Flats

Hi everyone, firstly I would like to introduce myself, my name is Zuhair and I live in York. I have been aiming to catch a bass for almost 2 years now. After days and days of research and learning about their behaviour and habitat, this summer I finally pulled my first one out! It was at Topham...
