thanks for the reply! sounds like i have been doing the right thing when i cast by not retrieving too fast. and will keep in mind the casting instead of trolling idea too! i have a couple of syclops' as well of a few different buzz baits that i will try too! i have used them before with no luck...

Yea I have a copy of them I just wanted to double check! A good way to ruin a day of fishing is to be caught by the MNR for doing something you didn't even know was wrong :P

I don't actually know the name I've been searching for the name but I think it is pringle creek, it's the same creek that flows into lake o at the marina!

I am wanting to fish for salmon in my local trib and am wondering if it is ok to do so. I am located in Whitby and to my understanding it is ok to fish for salmon south of highway 2 and between the southerly limit of the CNR, can anyone clarify if I'm right? I would rather not get in trouble :P
