    Fishing the Toronto Islands

Try the inner lagoons.. I haven't been there in a few yrs but when i was there the lagoons were very productive... I couldn't catch anything in the out islands facing the actual lake but apparently there are bigger fish there.

    Burlington Shore Fishing Spots?

I hear Bronte harbor pier has some potential.. I'm gonna try it out sometime this summer.. I'd be happy with a few perch or Drum though! lol.. Not looking for trophy salmon.... GTA needs a good fishing pier... It's a shame that we have all this prime fishable water on Lake Ontario with no...

What's up with the Humber River?

Yah and these weirs seem to benefit the non-native trout and carp the most! lol.... I'd love it if they tore down a few of these weirs and give the Smallmouth a chance to swim further up the river.. Then I wouldn't have to drive all the way to the Grand for an outing!

    Valens Derby

IT's ridiculous that in a Conservation area that the white bucket fisherman issue can't be neutralized... I can understand public fishing areas and with the small number of Ministry officers out there working would make it hard to enforce all areas. In a C.A area though, employees could simply...

What's up with the Humber River?

THanks.. Very informative answer.. I knew it had something to do with the weirs.. Many lake fish can't get up them, which is a huge shame, because some stretches of the humber offer great habitat for Largies and smallies, rock bass, and plenty of bottom fish... As much as I love my rainbows and...

What's up with the Humber River?

I've been fishing the middle stretch of the Humber since I was a teen, i'm in my early 30s now, and I've noticed the caliber and fish diversity has gone down the past 15 yrs of fishing it... We still get the Salmon and Trout runs, but in late spring, summer, it use to be a great warm water...

Mods, Please shut down the "pre season invasion" thread.

When posting a thread like this never mention races... The term "White Bucket Fishermen" is good enough, because we should not focus on the race performing these illegal and immoral acts but more so the "People" themselves.. This genre of fisherman comes in many races and faces... Bottom line...

    Suckers...

What's so bad about suckers? They get big.. they fight pretty hard.. I just don't get the discrimination lol.... Sure they're not all sleek and sexy looking as a steelhead... But I'd take a 20 - 30 sucker day over a couple of steelhead... Guess it just me, but I like quantity.. .
