Buying a boat this time of the year

The thing thats making me hold off more is the fact what i've been reading of the effects of the cold weather on the boat itself. So i'm gonna use it for maybe 1.5 month then i have to store it for 4 to 5 months. More than likely i will have to leave it in the backyard and cover it up which is...

As the weather is changing I was just wondering which fish are better to target in this type of cooler weather. I know Salmon is for one, maybe carp, catfish? Also, once the season is over are you not allowed to fish that particular species or just not allowed to take it home? Like if i go to...

    Canoe Fishing

Where did you get your boat from? Do you make the model name aswell? Kind of sounds like what i'm looking for. If you don't mind me asking how much did you spend? Bass boats may be out of my budget but they defiantly look more stable. So far i'm checking Canadian Tire, Bass Pro Shop and...

    Canoe Fishing

I've been looking at these, i like the fact they have the back rests. I was on a boat few weeks ago without one and man my back hurt! It is made of "Thermoformed polyethylene". Is that aluminum , Kevlar or fiberglass?

    Canoe Fishing

I just checked and apparently if any motor is attached (regardless of size) you need a boating license. I called Bass Pro Shop and they dont issue them anymore as of yesterday but i think you can get them online for 50$

Interesting link for fishing locations throughout Ontario

It is great, especially when you are traveling! Its really convenient with a mobile device such as an iPhone. You can look up fishing spots around you as it detects your location.
