I would love to go but I'm pretty sure most (if not all by now) of the GTA tribs are frozen over. Can anyone provide us with an update of the water in the East? I went to a couple east tribs on Friday and they were about 60% frozen

I prefer the east. Having said that, I do like the west side during winter/late fall.

Completely agree. I couldn't tell u how many times I've hooked fish just setting the hook at the end of drifts. Sometimes ur float just won't go down.

Went out fishing this afternoon at a lake O trib. The water was low and fairly clear however the fishing was pretty good. We got a few chinnies and I ended up catching this beauty just before we left. First chrom of the season baby!!!!

I only use trout eggs purchased from a trout farm. I only take live chinook eggs. I do find that there is a slight difference in success using different types of eggs however. I do agree presentation is the biggest difference.
