    Salmon Run 2017??

Fresh fish will certainly be aggressive. On the other hand A boot that's in two feet of water and been there for 2 weeks will would need the the hook dragged right over it to be caught

    Salmon Run 2017??

They certainly can work. I usually use spoons and crank baits and even minnows while they are staging. I can honestly say that still baits have been less effective for me. When salmon fishing I try to invoke their aggression.

    Need roe advice

I find the best roe to use is what ever is running at that time salmonoids will hit drifting row to eliminate scent and try to hide there spawn beds from predators (trout).

    Way to early for salmon??

It is what it is . no one else caught anything all night. Schooling fish commonly feed actively in the shallows during low light periods regardless of the time of year it is simply a matter of enticing them.if the Loogans plan on using those trebles won't be very productive.
