i will use the traditional method of bead fishing, ive put them at exactly 2 inches from bottom of hook to bottom of the bead but i also tied a few of those with different size hooks to see what happens.. (the picture's from Google).... wish me luck only a couple days to go....

alright ill try thanks how about Tying the bead onto a hook using fishing line, has anyone had any experience with these and does it work fairly well for drifting and swinging ? does it get hung up it rocks often?....

no the hole in the glass beads are smaller then the trout beads....10 pound fluo fits perfecly......

am i the only one who thought about going to a craft store and picking up glass beads? i looked online at the actual trout beads and the hole seems allot smaller (cant drill ....tried...lol!) can they still be pegged somehow? or am i stuck making knots?

honestly i have yet to see a line shy pike i use braid exclusively on pike 30 pound is perfect use it just like a leader.. ( casting) might be a little stiff at first but it will loosen up and pike wont cut the line trust me ,,,, making knots to the fly will be a little difficult i recommend...

come to think of it the only light rig ive herd of actually working was attaching small super bright lights on planner boards trolling for walleye witch flashed on the lures..... and even then full moon light is just as good....

ive tried stuffing ear ring glow sticks inside sankos (at night) and same result no bites, switched to simple black and blue flek and caught a bunch (bass i know....just using the example...)

i bought the walmart 6 in minnows with the black plastic heads with the lazer that makes the body glow..... its crap never caught a damn thing on it, i have regular white 6 inch minnows (swim baits) and ive caught a dozen fish on it this season s0o just goes to show.... maybe red light isint...

the hook makes all the difference.... then the leader..... i like seaguar abrazx fluo , barely any stretch and it can take a beating.....

so i did some research and apparently there have been instances of coho/chinook hybrids could this be one of them? would explain the big differences between them.... has anyone ever had experience with the hybrids?
