Just got delivery of the reel I decided on..went with a red truck diesel 7/8.. Super sweet ,classic looking click and pawl Balances the rod really well..going to line it with a switch chucker #4 Can't wait woohoo!! Our cat Lou likes it too hahahaha

Although new to steel heading ,thought I would share my opinions.. First purchase was the Clarus 13' worked well for the heavier leaders and landing salmon, but As I went to lighter leads, 8,6, and especially 4lb, I ended up losing the fish on break offs.. Purchased the 13'6" guide select...

So far it's been quite slow..looks like the fish are winning The ones I've seen landed are beautiful tho..anyone else's thoughts or comments?

I would have to agree with the consensus that it's going to be a wet spring for sure We haven't seen this much snowfall in a long while The fishing pressure will be high I'm sure,but If it does turn out to be a "fish" year, that should help the spawn rate, which in turn would lead to a better...

Hello all Recently purchased the 10'8" 6 wt and I am looking for suggestions as to what reel would be a good match for it. Rod is rated for 180 to 330 grain window.. Anyone else have one of these?? thanks in advance christopher
