    Gagnon deals

Thats a casting rod, they might not have any spin/float reel models which is what TI is looking for. The date on the sale sticker shows November 6th so most rods are probably gone.

Am I the only one on here?!

I think Mother Nature heard you were going to sell the roe so she made the females stay away. Maybe its just Karma.

Bait Shops with Loose Salmon Roe

You definitely can't sell roe you harvest yourself from wild fish. If you have enough for yourself, why not just let the fish go and maybe provide our future generation with some fishing opportunities.

    Beyond ridiculous now

I know mine are the cheaper Simms but I bought them because they just seemed to fit me better than some of the others I tried on. I will pay more for comfort. I did check out some other brands and they are also getting up there in price. It is not only Simms.

    Beyond ridiculous now

I just bought some Simms Freestone waders for under $300 CAD at Basspro. I have had good luck with FroggToggs and you can get them for a good price at Lebarons. Their priced from $120 - $230. http://www.lebaron.ca/annual_catalogue/annual_eng_cat/pages_pdf/frogg_toggs.pdf If you can buy them...

WHAT DID YOU BUY TODAY? FISHING PURCHASES

Make sure you carry a pump and patch kit. Not sure how durable they are but it would suck to be caught up river somewhere with a hole in it.

    Collapsible/Mini/Travel Rods

I had the 7'6" 2-6lb 4-piece travel model of this rod years ago and it served its purpose well. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Micro-Lite-Graphite-Spinning-Pack-Rod/product/1512171215/ They do make a 5'6" light action in a 3 piece so each section would be just under 2'. I also have the...

Salmon caught with stamp on gill plate

I believe this is the correct answer, but does anyone actually know who marks fish like this? I have personally only seen tags and fin clips for identification.

Salmon caught with stamp on gill plate

Well problem solved u won't catch her again, lol. Yeah, I might as well sell all my fishing gear since I no longer need it.

Salmon caught with stamp on gill plate

That's one of the fish I released. My buddy thinks that I keep catching the same fish over and over again. To prove he was wrong I decided to brand all the fish I catch.

    Amazing!

Yeah, you will be sure to have more company in the future. I was there yesterday and saw the white bucket fishers keeping everything they catch.

    Islander steelheader vs raven t4

Performance wise I would say they will both work great. I would just choose the one that feels the best to you. Here's a Great Price on a T4. $329.99 https://fishingworld.ca/products/9237-raven-t-4-float-reel-

    Anyone want an 8-wt?

I have a 3wt St. Croix Avid thats awesome for resident trout. Makes the smaller more common size trout fun to catch.

    Ande monofilament and fluorocarbon

I think some Canadian Tires carry it.

    Lots of debris

Any poachers around there today? I live not too far away from there and have seen quite a few people fishing out of season downstream from where you are standing over the past few years. If I mention it to them, most just play dumb or tell me I am wrong. They even have posted signs at both...

    Ok I'm Ready for This

I don't think this is a common problem, something doesn't sound right to me.

    Ok I'm Ready for This

Are you sure the spool adjustment knob is tight and the spool isn't moving back and forth? I'm assuming you would notice that. I couldn't see how the gap between the spool and backplate would get wider with line on it. Let us know the outcome.
